Thebes Consultancy is an Egyptian Limited Liability Company that began operations at the start of 2012. It is an advisory firm, specializing in regulatory advisory and compliance services in the areas of commercial, financial and business law and practice in Egypt. Thebes Consultancy was established by Dr. Ziad Bahaa El-Din, Egyptian attorney-at-law and legal advisor, who previously held key posts within the business and financial services sector and in Government, such as the Executive Chairman and founder of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, the Executive Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment and former board member of the Central Bank of Egypt, amongst others. Since the beginning of its operations, Thebes Consultancy quickly managed to establish itself as a legal resource by providing up-to-date information, practical advice and in-depth insights into the Egyptian legal system.Thebes Consultancy benefits from the expertise of its team in providing legal information and advisory services in the areas of commercial legislation, supervision and compliance.

Drafting Egyptian Banking Law No. 88/2003. Amending Egyptian Company Law No. 159/1981.
Amending Egyptian Capital Market Law No. 95/1992. Participating in drafting the Egyptian Anti Money Laundering Law No. 80/2002.
Drafting the Capital Market Law for the Arab Republic of Syria. Drafting trading and membership rules for the Libyan Stock Exchange.
Drafting various commercial laws for the Arab Republic of Yemen. Acting as advisor of legislation for the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange.
