Consumer Finance

The Egyptian Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020 saw Thebes Consultancy conducting the initial research and baseline comparative analysis. Engaging in discussions with stakeholders and collaborating with the Central Bank of Egypt and the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Thebes Consultancy prepared the initial draft of the proposed law and supported the involved parties throughout the process. The law was ultimately enacted in March 2020.
