The Egyptian Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020 where Thebes Consultancy provided the initial research and baseline comparative analysis, engaged in discussions with stakeholders as well as the two national regulators – the Central bank of Egypt and the Egyptian FRA – provided the first draft of the proposed law, and supported the various parties until the law was finally enacted in March 2020.
